The Scottish Open has quite the featured group.

The world of links golf is taking center stage once again this week as the LPGA will kick off the Scottish Open while much of the United States is still sleeping late Wednesday night.

Thankfully there are all sorts of points of technology that will allow us to catch up on the action whenever we wake up (set those alarms!), and when you do you will be treated to quite the featured group. Nelly Korda, Charley Hull and Lottie Woad are all playing together to start things off.

This event marks Korda’s first appearance at Dundonald links. As the number one golfer int he world it makes sense to involve her, so that is going to be fun to see in the featured group setting in general.

Obviously Charley Hull is quite popular on tour and fans unfortunately saw her have to withdraw from the Evian due to an injury. Thankfully all appears to be well there.

Lottie Woad is without question the part of this trio that has experienced the most success this season as she capped off an amazing amateur career with a win at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open before turning professional.

All told these are names that made a lot of sense to put together and it is going to be fun to see it all shake out.
