We’re still about four months away from the start of the women’s college basketball season, but schedules are beginning to come out and matchups in multi-team events — you know these as those “Feast Week” tournaments that happen around Thanksgiving — are being set.
Here’s the schedule for the best 2025 Feast Week event in women’s college basketball, featuring 3 Final Four teams
South Carolina, Duke, Texas and UCLA will feature in an event in Las Vegas around Thanksgiving.

What is shaping up to be the best — or at least the most interesting — MTE of November is the Players Era Women’s Championship, which will be played in Las Vegas, Nevada on Nov. 26 and 27. Featured in the inaugural women’s edition of this event are South Carolina, Texas, UCLA and Duke. That’s three teams that made last season’s Final Four, and another in Duke which narrowly lost to the Gamecocks in the Elite Eight.
On Nov. 26, UCLA will face Texas at 2 p.m. ET. Then, at 4:30 p.m. ET, Duke and South Carolina will face off in a rematch of last season’s Elite Eight.
Duke has lost six straight games to South Carolina, a streak dating back to 2017, but the Blue Devils held the Gamecocks to their lowest scoring total of the season last year when they met in Birmingham, Alabama.
On Nov. 27, the winners of those two games will face off at 8 p.m. ET, while the losers will battle in a third-place game at 10:30 p.m. ET. Should Texas and South Carolina advance to the championship game, it will be a rare non-conference clash between two teams from the SEC.
The Longhorns and Gamecocks played four times last season, twice in the regular season, once for the SEC title and again in the Final Four. South Carolina went 3-1 in those games, with its lone loss coming in the regular season in Austin, Texas. South Carolina coach Dawn Staley is 16-4 all-time against Texas coach Vic Schaefer.
For UCLA, this will be one of at least two trips to Las Vegas. Cori Close’s Bruins will also play in an MTE in Sin City about 10 days prior to the Players Era Championship, facing off against North Carolina and USF in an event at Michelob Ultra Arena sponsored in-part by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Games for the Players Era Championship will also be played at Michelob Ultra Arena, home of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. Each of the four games will be broadcast by TNT Sports, which means they’ll air on TNT or truTV and also be available via streaming for HBO Max subscribers.
