Georgetown player with heart condition starts and throws down a dunk on Senior Day

Georgetown’s Tyler Adams saw his basketball career end four games into his freshman year because of a heart condition, but Saturday, he got to fulfill his dream of starting for the Hoyas. Adams took the floor and got to put down a dunk to open the game against Seton Hall:

Adams has stayed with the team throughout his college career despite a condition that prevents him from playing regularly, so the doctor-approved opportunity to join the starting lineup and score was hard-earned and a delight to watch.
