Greuther Fürth vs. Hamburg: Final score 0-1, Son leads Hamburg to victory

Heung-Min Son scored his fourth goal of the season to beat Greuther Fürth.

Hamburg picked up their third win in their last four matches with a 1-0 victory over Greuther Fürth.

Heung-Min Son scored his fourth goal of the season to continue his torrid streak as of late. He dribbled alone from midfield to the edge of the penalty area and ripped a shot past Max Grün for the lead after only 17 minutes.

After being extremely busy in recent weeks, Rene Adler had little to do in the net. The Hamburg goalkeeper has been excellent so far this season.

Artjoms Rudnevs had two opportunities to add to the lead in the second half, but he was unable to score both times. His second chance struck the post from a tight angle, while Rafael Van der Vaart stood open in front of the goal.

The loss keeps Fürth on the bottom of the table after Augsburg won yesterday. Hamburg jump to 8th in the table.
