Following an even first half, the Duke Blue Devils turned it on after the intermission and created separation before topping the Santa Clara Broncos, 90-77. Duke's Seth Curry and Santa Clara's Kevin Foster had an impressive shooting duel, but Curry and the Blue Devils' effort was too much to overcome.

The Duke Blue Devils pulled away from Santa Clara in the second half on Seth Curry’s hot shooting to remain unbeaten.
Curry finished with a career-high 31 points on an efficient 12-of-18 shooting from the field and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. His two teammates, Mason Plumlee and Ryan Kelly, each recorded double-doubles with Plumlee netting 22 points and 13 rebounds.
Foster kept the Broncos in contention for much of the game, scoring 29 points on 12-of-22 shooting, including 5-of-11 from long range. He also dished a team-high four assists and grabbed five rebounds. The guard’s 18 first-half points erased an 11-point deficit for Santa Clara.
It was Curry’s shooting in the second half, however, that put Duke out ahead as the Blue Devils went on a 21-3 run and never relinquished the lead again. Free throws were a major difference, with Duke getting to the line for 33 attempts, compared to just 15 for the Broncos.
With the win, the Blue Devils move to 12-0 and will put their undefeated record on the line against Davidson on Jan. 2.
