The Connecticut Huskies avoided the upset against Boston University, 77-60, behind strong play from their lead guard, Shabazz Napier. The senior recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals and just three turnovers on Sunday.

The Huskies picked up their fourth win in as many games on Sunday, sending Boston University home with a loss.


UConn forward DeAndre Daniels led all scorers with 24 points after recording just 19 points through the team's first three games. Ryan Boatright added 16 points of his own.
Daniels led the Huskies’ offense early, scoring eight points as UConn took off to a 10-0 lead.
Boston shot just 34 percent from the field and connected on only eight of its 32 three-point attempts.
The Terriers’ starting backcourt scored 30 points, with point guard D.J. Irving scoring 17 points and Maurice Watson Jr. adding 13. Forward Dom Morris nearly recorded a double-double, knotting 13 points and collecting nine rebounds.
The game looked like a blowout early as the Huskies jumped out to a 37-20 lead before Boston went on a 15-0 run in the closing moments of the first half.
