Gonzaga vs. Arkansas final score: Bulldogs capture 5th place in Maui with 91-81 win
The Bulldogs rebounded from an early loss to Dayton with two straight wins to finish the Maui Invitational.

Dayton upset Gonzaga in the opening round before the Bulldogs beat Chaminade to set up their game with Arkansas. The Razorbacks lost to California in the first round and beat Minnesota on Tuesday.
Gonzaga led for most of Wednesday evening but was not able to open a double-digit lead until a 7-0 run put the Bulldogs up 13 with five minutes to play in the first half. Arkansas responded with the final six points of the half to go into the break only down seven.
Kevin Pangos led all scorers with 34 points on an efficient 10-15 from the field. He also made seven of his eight three-point attempts. Sam Dower (19 points) and Gary Bell Jr. (13 points) provided some extra firepower to simply overwhelm Arkansas down the stretch.
The Razorbacks trailed by just nine with eight minutes to play, but threes on three consecutive Gonzaga possessions -- two from Pangos and one from Dower -- put the game out of reach.
Bobby Portis had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Arkansas.
