NCAA Tournament 2013 TV schedule: First Four games start Tuesday

Two of the NCAA’s First Four games tip off on Tuesday. Here’s where you can catch the action.

The 2013 NCAA Tournament officially kicks off on Tuesday with the First Four games. These games don’t quite have the prestige and buzz of the upcoming weekend slate, but it’s still postseason basketball, and eight teams are playing in “win or go home” mode, so there should be some exciting action on the table for Tuesday.

The first game of the day will be North Carolina A&T against Liberty. The Flames are the only team in the tournament with a losing record. They hope to repeat Western Kentucky’s feat from last season and win their play-in game to get a spot in the round of 64.

Following that game will be St. Mary’s versus Middle Tennessee. Both teams fell in their respective conference tournaments and were on the edge of the bubble on Selection Sunday. They will want to prove they belong in the dance.

Television coverage of the games will be provided on truTV, with Marv Albert and Steve Kerr calling the action. You’ll be forgiven if this is the first time in your life you’ve heard of truTV.
