NCAA bracket 2013, LIU Brooklyn vs. James Madison: Dukes advance to face Indiana

After knocking off LIU Brooklyn on Wednesday night, James Madison will face top-seeded Indiana on Friday.

The James Madison Dukes advanced to the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament on Wednesday night with a 68-55 win over LIU Brooklyn.

JMU led for most of the contest and really dug in on the defensive end, holding the Blackbirds to 36 percent from the field. As a team, the Dukes blocked nine shots. It seemed that LIU was continually struggling to find good shots on the offensive end.

With the win, James Madison will face the Indiana Hoosiers on Friday afternoon. IU received the top seed in the East Region after an impressive regular season performance in the BIg Ten. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET from The University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio. TBS will televise the action live.

The Dukes will be heavy underdogs against Indiana. The Hoosiers are one of the most complete teams in the nation, and it's tough to envision James Madison being able to slow down Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo for very long. The game on Friday may be close for the opening minutes, but look for IU to cruise in the second half as they advance to the round of 32.
