2013 March Madness TV schedule: TBS has 2 No. 1 seeds Thursday

March Madness is finally here, now without CBS dictating what you can watch.

The second year of the NCAA tournament’s decentralization from CBS to include TNT, TBS and TruTV kicks off in earnest Thursday with the second round — the round of 64 — and isn’t it nice to know a man in a CBS production booth doesn’t decide what games you get to watch?

Of note is that of the two No. 1 seeds playing Thursday — Gonzaga and Louisville — both play their respective games on TBS instead of CBS. The schedules seem to carry names of equal face value between the four. TBS has both No. 1 seeds Thursday, but the other three networks will each air a No. 3 seed at some point throughout the day.
