March Madness 2013 streaming: How to watch online, radio and more

You don’t (strictly) need a TV to watch and listen to the NCAA tournament Friday.

Streaming NCAA tournament games from the Internet, either to your computer or mobile device, isn’t strictly free but is widely available based on your cable or satellite subscription.

NCAA’s March Madness Live website and mobile app will stream each game, and the first four hours of live viewing are free across the board and don’t require a log-in. To watch for longer, you’ll need to log in through your TV provider. At that point, you’ll have unlimited access to games based on what you subscribe to at home. All users have unlimited access to stream games airing on CBS.

The mobile app is free to download.

Radio streaming, with the Dial Sports Global calls of each game, is free for all users without a log-in on the March Madness Live website and app. Sirius XM Radio is also carrying the same national radio feeds throughout the tournament. All 16 games will be broadcast Friday between XM channels 85, 91, 190, 191 and 192. Sirius subscribers can hear those games on channels 85, 91, 92, 93 and 94.

Flipping between games will keep you busy Friday. The No. 2-seeded Duke Blue Devils tip off the day's action at 12:15 p.m. ET against the Albany Great Danes. And tournament sideshow Marshall Henderson leads the Ole Miss Rebels against the Wisconsin Badgers at 12:40 p.m. ET.
