For someone that suffered one of the more gruesome sports injuries you'll see in a major sporting event, Louisville Cardinals guard Kevin Ware sure knows how to remain positive.
Kevin Ware injury: Louisville guard tweets photos of rehabilitation
The long road to recovery for Kevin Ware is officially underway, as the Louisville Cardinals guard tweeted a photo of himself riding a stationary bike on Monday.
we don’t quit, we don’t cower, we don’t run. we endure and conquer. #mambamentality twitter.com/_billionairebe…

As Yahoo! Sports reported, that is a portion of a message written by Kobe Bryant on his Facebook page last week after the Lakers guard tore his Achilles tendon. Ware tweeted the quote along with a picture of himself riding a stationary bike, as he begins to rehabilitate his broken leg.
Ware underwent surgery weeks ago to repair a compound fracture he suffered against the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight. He had a rod inserted into his leg to stabilize the break, and the Cardinals went on to use Ware's injury as motivation to cut down the nets, making sure he was in Atlanta to join in the party.
The injury isn’t expected to be career-ending for Ware, although the rehabilitation will take quite some time. If Ware’s Twitter feed is any indication, he is in the right frame of reference to make the comeback.
