Colorado hits 100 in win over Oregon

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY SporAfter a sluggish if tightly contested start by both teams, Oregon put together an 11-2 run to take a 21-12 lead midway through the first half. That’s when the Buffaloes got themselves in gear, though; Colorado scored 32 points the rest of the way to take a 44-42 lead at the break.
Dinwiddie finished his day with 23 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including a 3-of-4 effort from three-point range. Booker set a career high with 27 points, while Johnson and Josh Scott added 15 each. Scott led the team with 12 boards.

Northern Iowa is No. 90 in KenPom.com’s team ratings, one of two other Missouri Valley Conference teams Wichita State will play that’s inside the top 100 (Indiana State is No. 60). The Shockers still have a game at Northern Iowa on Feb. 8, and they have a home-and-home against the Sycamores still on tap.
The Shockers held Northern Iowa to 33.9 percent shooting, not nearly enough considering Wichita State’s six total turnovers (two were in the final minute of the game) and 43-40 rebounding advantage.

Heading into SEC play, the Tigers will have to battle against stacked Kentucky and Florida teams for the conference title. Mizzou hasn’t won the SEC’s regular season title since the 1993-1994 season. They open conference play at home against Georgia on Wednesday.

Now 15-0, the Wildcats will now take their undefeated mark on the road. They will travel to Southern California to play UCLA and USC in the next eight days, their first road games in Pac-12 play.

The Orange kept it interesting by shooting just 36 percent from the field in the game, the worst mark for Syracuse since its effort against St. Francis of New York on Nov. 18.
Miami’s defense was its strong suit. The Hurricanes blocked six Syracuse shots, including four from forward Donnavan Kirk. Garrius Adams was the leading scorer for Miami with nine points, as no Hurricane player managed double-digit scoring.

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY SportsAfter a competitive first half, Ohio State pulled away in the second, outscoring Nebraska 44-23 over the final 20 minutes.
The game was somewhat tight early on, with Nebraska holding a 14-10 lead at one point and trailing by just six as late as the the first half’s final minute. Ohio State closed the half with back-to-back buckets followed by a pair of free throws to head into intermission with a 40-30 lead.
