Notre Dame coach Mike Brey tells official to ‘have the balls’ to call late foul

A questionable no-call in the closing seconds of Michigan State’s game against Notre Dame resulted in the contest going to overtime and not with the Fighting Irish’s Jerian Grant heading to the stripe for a chance to win it in regulation.

Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey was of the opinion that a foul did, in fact, take place, and that the referee with the best angle of the play should have found the intestinal fortitude necessary to blow his whistle.

Notre Dame still won the game, 79-78.
