Dylan Garrity recreates memorable game-winner on first try

Or at least it would appear that way.

Sacramento State junior guard Dylan Garrity became a national name for a few hours last weekend after video of his 70-foot buzzer-beater to take down visiting Weber State went viral.

Weber State had just hit a dramatic game-tying three-pointer with just 0.7 seconds remaining on the clock, and everyone in the building figured the game was headed to overtime. It was not.

That leads us to this video (uploaded on Monday), which appears to show Garrity attempting to recreate the shot, and achieving the feat on his first attempt.

Of course there’s no way to know if this is totally legit, but the reactions sure seem to be genuine. Regardless of how many attempts it actually took, the fact that the number was small enough that Garrity didn’t give up before hitting it again is impressive in its own right.
