Florida freshman Chris Walker has been waiting an awfully long time to see the court.
Chris Walker introduces himself to college basketball

Walker, a former McDonald’s All-American who was rated the No. 6 player in the class of 2013 by Rivals.com, missed the first semester of this season because of academics. He enrolled at Florida in December after meeting the NCAA’s minimum academic eligibility requirements, but had been sitting out while the NCAA reviewed a pre-enrollment eligibility issue.
On Jan. 29, the NCAA announced that Walker had been cleared and would be able to participate in a game for the first time when the Gators hosted Missouri. It did not take long for him to make his presence felt.
Also, we’d be remiss if we didn’t at least acknowledge this prophetic tweet from last week.
Chris Walker's first bucket is coming off an alley-oop lob from Kasey Hill in Tuesday's game. Pat Young with the back screen, too. #Gators
