It's been a rough season for Florida, and it got worse on Saturday afternoon when Georgia gave Florida its first loss in conference play in the last 25 games. Georgia won 73-61 behind a balanced scoring effort led by Kenny Gaines and Marcus Thornton, who each scored 16. J.J. Frazier (11 points, six assists) was also stellar in the win.

The loss drops Florida to 10-7 on the season. Injuries and inconsistent play in the front court have plagued the Gators all season. It’s tough losing four senior starters, people.
