Kyle Dodson, a four-star recruit according to Rivals, has committed to Ohio State, announcing the news at a ceremony at his school on National Signing Day and opting for Urban Meyer’s team over Wisconsin, USC, and Michigan State.
Kyle Dodson Commits To Ohio State Over Wisconsin, USC, Michigan State
Rivals rates Dodson as the No. 16 offensive tackle in the country, and he has the size, at 6'6" and 315 pounds, to turn into a road-grader for an Ohio State line that will need to both protect Braxton Miller and open holes for what could be a revival of Meyer's spread running game. The Buckeyes will need that running game in 2012 and the near future, as Miller develops, and while Dodson is unlikely to be a starter from Day One, he could provide much-needed depth immediately.
