2015 Recruit Jacques Patrick Now Holds 9 BCS Offers, Visiting Florida State

Jacques Patrick, a national recruit from Orlando Timber Creek High School, has has quite the off-season. The 6’2, 200-pound running back might not remain at that position as he grows, but the fifteen-year old has already shown enough to convince college coaches that he is worth an offer.

Patrick has been on a tour of some of the top colleges recently, and has chronicled his journey via Twitter.

The Orlando runner had a blast at Georgia, but was unable to earn an offer because Mark Richt was out of the office. Patrick expects an offer soon.

His next stop was Alabama, where he posed with the Bear Bryant statue and walked away with an offer from the Crimson Tide.

Wednesday, Patrick stopped in Tallahassee to visit Florida State for the Jimbo Fisher camp. He met FSU running back Devonta Freeman and hung out on campus.

Patrick made the mistake of tweeting “It could possibly end today...,” which threw recruitniks for a loop given that Patrick has said he does not plan to make an early decisiion.

When asked about the comment, Patrick said “Oh, that had nothing to do with recruiting. My decision is far in the future, but I may have on school that’s standing out next week.”

FSU fans believe that school will be Florida State, Patrick’s childhood favorite.

Patrick had previously earned offers from Auburn, Arizona, Florida, LSU, Miami, Vanderbilt and UCF.
