After suffering some recent losses at the loaded wide receiver position, Texas A&M added another to the class on Friday when the news broke from Gigem247 that 2013 Santa Monica (Calif.) wide receiver Sebastian Larue had committed to the Aggies.

When the California native cancelled visits to Notre Dame and then Utah, A&M began to look like the heavy favorite.
Larue had been committed for several days, but had wanted to make his announcement on ESPNU, a plan that apparently did not come together, so he gave Gigem247 the chance to break the news.
Texas A&M had seemingly been surging in his recruitment in recent days. Head coach Kevin Sumlin and his staff hosted Larue on an official visit last weekend. Earlier this week, Larue cancelled his planned visit to Notre Dame and then cancelled another visit to Utah, sparking some buzz in Aggie circles that a pledge was imminent.
At 5-11, 195 pounds and with a reported sub-4.4 40 time, Larue will join Cedar Hill (Texas) wide receiver/all-purpose back Laquvionte Gonzalez as the two true slot receivers in the large Texas A&M recruiting class, which includes jumbo wide receivers like 6-7 Derrick Griffin, 6-5 Ricky Seals-Jones, and 6-4 JaQuay Williams.
Larue had decommitted from USC in early January to open up his recruitment, but had already taken an unofficial visit to Texas A&M prior to the 2012 football season. With the success of A&M in the SEC and the outstanding season from quarterback Johnny Manziel, the Aggies only got more appealing as time went on.
