The Texas Longhorns will have to wait until noon central time on Signing Day to find out if longtime commit A'Shawn Robinson, the five-star defensive tackle from Fort Worth (Texas) Arlington Heights, signs with Texas, according to Max Olson of ESPN's Horns Nation.

Robinson has also taken official visits to USC, Alabama, and Florida State, though the Seminoles are not considered to be contenders.

There has been increasing buzz in Texas circles over the last few days that Alabama has made serious progress with the 6-5, 300-pounder after Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban visited Arlington Heights earlier in the week.

For some time, the key to Robinson’s recruitment has been thought to be whether or not his mother wants to keep him close to home for college, though Robinson denied that she would have an impact on his decision when he was asked about it by SB Nation Recruiting at the Army Bowl.
