Sawyer discusses TCU pledge, QB competition
LEANDER, Texas -- It’s been a busy spring and summer for Fort Worth All Saints quarterback Foster Sawyer after committing to TCU, competing in the Dallas Elite 11 camp, and participating in the Texas 7on7 State Championship.
SB Nation Recruiting caught up with the 6’5, 215-pound quarterback while he was in Leander with All Saints and spoke with him about why he decided to follow so many members of his family to TCU, how he feels about the Horned Frogs taking two quarterbacks in the class, and what he’s been doing to improve for his senior season.

Among pro-style passers, the All Saints product is ranked in the 247Sports Composite as the No. 20 player at this position in the country and the No. 40 player in Texas.
Prior to his commitment, Sawyer held offers from Alabama, Missouri, Oklahoma State, SMU, and UCLA, but opted to stay close to home at the same school that multiple members of his family have attended.
