Prior to his commitment to TCU, he held offers from Baylor, Duke, Houston, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Rice, SMU, Texas Tech, Washington State, and West Virginia.
