Recruit’s coach: Saban ‘firmly committed’ to Bama

Leonard Fournette is the top-rated recruit in the country, according to the 247sports composite, and his head coach told the media that he believes Saban isn’t taking the job at Texas:

Once thought to be a Texas lean, the connection between Adams’ father and Gator recruiting coordinator Joker Phillips propelled Florida to a big summer lead in the Crystal Ball projections for Adams, which now sit almost evenly split between the two schools.
Interested in early playing time, the depth chart at Florida is still more favorable than Texas, but the on-field struggles this season that have raised questions about the future of head coach Will Muschamp and the accompanying surge by the Longhorns have led many to believe that a shift in Adams’ recruitment has taken place in favor of the Horns.
