BEAVERTON, Oregon -- Carrollton (Texas) Hebron safety Jamal Adams isn’t one to say much publicly in terms of his recruitment, but he was willing to speak with SB Nation Recruiting after the SPARQ Finals on Monday.

The consensus five-star prospect spoke with SB Nation Recruiting.
The 6’0, 200-pound safety said that he twisted his ankle during the day, but was in good spirits and indicated that he’ll continue competing at The Opening -- that’s just how he is.
Adams shared his favorite piece of swag from Nike, as well as thoughts on playing in the SEC, the importance of early playing time, and how he feels about the teams many perceive as his three finalists -- Florida, Texas A&M, and Texas.
