Four-star WR Frank Iheanacho commits to the Texas A&M Aggies

Iheanacho’s commitment to the Aggies will be a big help beginning next season when they adjust to life without Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans.

Frank Iheanacho, one of the top wide receivers in the 2014 class, committed to the Texas A&M Aggies at the U.S. Army All-American Game on Saturday.

Iheanacho played his high school ball at Westside High School in Houston, Texas. He is ranked by 247Sports as the 86th-best overall prospect in his class, as well the 11th-best wide receiver. He is also listed as the No. 13 recruit in the state of Texas this year.

He received upwards of 15 scholarship offers throughout his recruitment, though Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Oregon and Texas A&M were announced as his finalists. He officially visited the Hogs and Ducks in December, as well as LSU in late November.

At 6’7, 220 pounds, Iheanacho can overwhelm defensive backs with his blend of size and speed. He could see plenty of early playing time in college, especially when the ball is in the red zone given his height and solid hands.

You can follow Frank on Twitter: @Nacho23_. Here are some highlights of him in action:

Iheanacho is the 21st commitment in the class for Texas A&M. It already ranked No. 2 in the SEC and No. 3 nationally and will clearly benefit from the addition of a four-star prospect like Iheanacho.
