OSU has been one of college football's best stories this season. A team picked near the bottom of the Pac-12 North, coach Mike Riley has turned the program around and has many thinking of a Rose Bowl. Quarterback Sean Mannion will not play for the second straight week following knee surgery, but the Beavers still managed to put up 42 points last weekend with backup Cody Vaz calling the plays.
The Utes are winless in conference play and have dropped three games in a row. For a team that some believed would compete for the Pac-12 South title, they have really disappointed in 2012. The team turned to freshman quarterback Travis Wilson in their last game against UCLA, and he threw for 220 yards and an interception in a 21-14 loss. He will start again on Saturday.
Game time, TV channel: 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2
Point spread: The Beavers opened as seven-point favorites. The line has since moved to 10 points, according to Odds Shark.
