Alabama vs. LSU to be College GameDay game for Week 10

ESPN College GameDay will travel to Louisiana next Saturday.

ESPN College GameDay will travel to Baton Rouge next Saturday to highlight the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers as they play a rematch of the 2012 BCS National Championship game, according to ESPN.

Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the country in both the BCS and AP polls, while LSU is ranked No. 6 this season.

The Crimson Tide have started the season 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the SEC. LSU is 7-1 on the year and 3-1 in conference play, with its only loss coming against Florida on Oct. 6.

Alabama defeated LSU 21-0 in the BCS National Championship Game, while the Tigers defeated the Crimson Tide 9-6 during conference play last season.

This year’s game will feature two of the top defenses in the country as Alabama is ranked first, allowing just 8.6 points per game this season. LSU is 10th, allowing 14.6 points per game.

The winner of the game will control its fate in the SEC West division, as both teams are vying for a berth in the SEC championship game.
