Alabama vs. LSU: Lolo Jones to be College GameDay guest picker

Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones will join the ESPN College GameDay crew Saturday morning before LSU-Alabama.

Olympic track and field athlete Lolo Jones will join the College GameDay crew this Saturday morning to pick college football games before No. 5 LSU hosts No. 1 Alabama Saturday night. She will join Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit to make the pick of the week from the host site, when Corso always suits up in the mascot gear of the team he’s picking that week.

Jones is a 2005 LSU graduate, and earned All-American honors 11 times during her track career while she competed for the Tigers. Jones placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2012 London Olympics, and holds two gold medals from the World Indoor Championships in the 60-meter hurdles. She also holds the American record in the 60-meter hurdles. On Oct. 25, she was named to the U.S. women’s bobsled team.

Alabama (8-0, 5-0) leads the SEC West and rolled past an undefeated and then-No. 13 Mississippi State team 38-7 last Saturday. LSU (7-1, 3-1) was off last week. The Tigers’ only loss was to No. 7 Florida in Gainesville on Oct. 6.
