BYU welcomes Utah State in a Friday night showdown.

Fresh off a victory in their last Friday night contest — a 47-0 shutout of the Hawaii Warriors — the Cougars will look to continue their rebound from two consecutive losses suffered on the road against the Utah Utes and the Boise State Broncos.
Led by quarterback Taysom Hill, the Cougars crushed the Warriors last week, as Hill passed for two touchdowns and ran for another. BYU running back Jamaal Williams also posted two scores on the night.
Utah State has started the season strong despite an early loss to the Wisconsin Badgers, and are coming off of a convincing 35-13 victory over the UNLV Running Rebels. Aggies quarterback Chuckie Keeton threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns against UNLV, while running back Kerwynn Williams accounted for more than 250 yards from scrimmage.
Game time, TV channel: Friday, Oct. 5, 10:15 p.m. ET on ESPN
Point spread: BYU is favored by a touchdown at home.
