Kansas State got started on their second drive of the game, when Collin Klein aired it out to Chris Harper for 62 yards to set up the Wildcats in TCU territory. Klein would finish the drive with a few rushes, including the seven yard touchdown scamper to put K-State up 7-0.

The Wildcats would add two field goals to make it 13-0. Trevone Boykin would throw an interception before halftime to stall a TCU scoring drive, and the Horned Frogs would also miss a field goal in their deepest incursion into Kanasas State territory.

Klein would then seal the game for Kansas State in the third quarter. Klein would complete three passes to put his team on the TCU side of the field, and then Klein would go all the way for 34 yards to put Kansas State up 20-0. The Wildcats would add a field goal, and TCU would score twice in the fourth quarter to conclude the scoring.
