The Oregon Ducks ran up, over, and around the Oregon St. Beavers in the latest edition of the Civil War, winning by a final score of 48-24. Here are the video highlights of the win.
Civil War 2012 video highlights: Oregon runs all over Oregon State
The Oregon Ducks cruised to victory over the Oregon State Beavers in the latest edition of the Civil War.
Oregon got started with a Marcus Mariota rushing score from 42 yards out after realizing no one was really spying him. Oregon State responded with a drive of their own to tie it up, but the Ducks responded with an early second quarter drive and a De'Anthony Thomas two yard touchdown. After Oregon State turned it over on downs, Barner would cap off another Oregon drive with a one yard plunge.
The Beavers added a field goal before halftime, then took the opening drive down the field to cut the lead to 20-17. But then the Ducks would score four touchdowns on their next five drives, with three of the scores off of Oregon State turnovers. Oregon State would commit six turnovers, four by Sean Mannion off of interceptions and two off of special teams miscues. Thomas would have three rushing touchdowns, Kenjon Barner two, and Mariota added a passing strike to B.J. Kelley to wrap up matters for the Ducks.
