Butch Jones turned the Buffs down for Tennessee at the last minute, and there was even a Mark Mangino rumor. You don’t want Mark Mangino rumors.
But all’s well that ends well, and this one appears to have ended well: San Jose State’s Mike MacIntyre will take the job, according to Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel. It’ll reportedly be announced within 24 hours.
