The Ohio Bobcats will try to continue their impressive season when they host the Bowling Green Falcons at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Ohio (8-1) and Bowling Green (6-3) are set for a mid-week showdown.
The Bobcats enter Wednesday’s game with an 8-1 (4-1) record. Their only loss came two weeks ago against Miami (OH), 23-20. Ohio rebounded, however, with a convincing 45-14 win over Eastern Michigan last Thursday.
The Falcons are on a hot streak going into Wednesday’s game. Bowling Green is 6-3 (4-1) overall, but has won five games in a row. The Falcons started the season 1-3 but have quickly turned their season around. They’re coming off a bye week.
Ohio has used a balance offensive attack to get to an 8-1 overall record. Quarterback Tyler Tettleton has completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,900 yards and 15 touchdowns. He's thrown just two interceptions. Beau Blankenship has led the ground game with 1,097 yards on 225 carries. He has eight touchdowns and is averaging 122 yards per game.
Bowling Green running back Anthon Samuel is also having a good season. Samuel has 725 yards and eight touchdowns on 128 carries this season.
