The USC Trojans are finally on the Sun Bowl scoreboard against Georgia Tech, with Silas Redd making about two or three nice catches, plus a nice dive for the pylon, all in one play. Watch as the Yellow Jackets defender kind of has no idea whether to go for the loose ball or for Redd himself, and it's not even hard to blame him. Lots of things going on, but excellent concentration in motion by Redd.
Silas Redd’s diving bobble touchdown is your score of the day
It took USC 29 minutes to score on a defense that just fired Al Groh. Just imagine reading that sentence in August!

The score’s now tied up at the break, 7-7.
Redd has been pretty much USC’s entire offense to this point, with 48 of the Trojans’ 58 rushing yards and 12 of their 58 receiving yards. Balance!
Still, though. Georgia Tech has an interim defensive coordinator and got blown out by Middle Tennessee. It ain’t that windy in El Paso.
