Lane Kiffin: there’s a guy who always gets his way, right?
Lane Kiffin has his way with USC reporters
Train up a press corps in the way it should go, and when you’re tired of talking, they might also be tired of asking you questions. It’s in the Bible.

After huffing out of a post-practice presser in under 30 seconds after being asked about a player’s injury, the USC coach is now challenging his own speed records:
Lane Kiffin, after getting only one question on conference call today: "That's the second-shortest press conference I've been a part of."

He’ll never top the Mark Dantonio lightning round experience, and he’s got a long way to go before catching up with Steve Spurrier’s query-free brevity, but Kiffin’s found a reliable way to make news like he did at Tennessee without actually saying anything at all, and that’s the true achievement here.
