2013 Arkansas football spring game, practices schedule set

Fans will get their first look at the Razorbacks under Bret Bielema when the spring game kicks off on April 20 in Fayetteville.

The Arkansas Razorbacks' first spring practice under new head coach Bret Bielema will open on March 10, according to the program's website. The Red-White Spring Game will take place on April 20, bringing the spring practice session to an end. The game will be held at Donald K. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville and is free to attend for the public.

This spring will be the first under Bielema, who left Wisconsin after seven seasons to coach the Razorbacks. He takes over for John L. Smith, who served as the interim coach last season after the dismissal of Bobby Petrino. After more than a year in upheaval, Hog fans are hoping Bielema can bring the program stability as well as bring them to that highest level in the SEC that they seemed so close to reaching under Petrino.

The kickoff time for the Red-White Spring Game will be announced at a later date.
