A resolution to the NCAA’s investigation into the University of Miami may be on the horizon.
Miami NCAA investigation reportedly nearing an end
The Hurricanes could learn their fate by this summer, according to the Associated Press.

The NCAA is scheduling meetings to deal with specific allegations against individuals, according to an Associated Press report on Saturday.
The Associated Press added that the scheduled meetings are a sign that this phase of the process is almost complete. The rumored allegations surround players and coaches receiving improper benefits from boosters.
While Miami doesn’t expect any surprises when they receive the allegations, the sanctions portion of the process is what will ultimately decide the fate of the program’s future.
Miami would have 90 days to respond to the allegations before receiving the sanctions, meaning the university could be notified of its penalties sometime this summer.
Miami has already self-imposed some sanctions, missing its last two bowl games and forfeiting its spot in the ACC Championship Game this year. Coach Al Golden is also expected to decrease the number of scholarships the team will use on its 2013 roster, according to the Associated Press.
Neither the NCAA or Miami has given any official statement about the ongoing investigation.
