The BYU Cougars will be performing a bit of a staff re-shuffling, which will include adding Robert Anae to their staff as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, according to Jeff Call of Deseret News. Reportedly, the announcement of his hiring could come as soon as Friday afternoon following Anae's interview in Provo.

Anae is no stranger to the Cougars, acting as their OC for five years from 2005 until 2010, when he resigned from the position. Following that, he worked for two seasons as the offensive line coach for the Arizona Wildcats. Anae's first stint with BYU was a fruitful one, helping to build some solid Cougar offenses. BYU earned top 25 NCAA statistical rankings on the offense 28 times during his five years as OC.

BYU’s current offensive coordinator Brandon Doman will reportedly remain on the staff as the quarterbacks coach, a position he already held along with the OC title.
