Florida State is rolling in the first half against Clemson, but if the task comes to controlling the clock and maintaining the lead in the second half, the Seminoles will be without one of their key weapons in the backfield.
Florida State RB James Wilder Jr. out with concussion

Wilder is the team’s third-leading rusher and is tied for second in carries on the season, so while he’s not the linchpin of the ground game by any stretch, he does play an important role and the FSU rushing attack will be diminished as a result.
Wilder had only five rushes for 18 yards before his injury, but with FSU holding a substantial lead he would have been in line for plenty more carries in the second half.
Getting the bulk of the carries from here on out will be Devonta Freeman, a 5'9, 203-pound back; in big back situations, Karlos Williams should get more looks.
