Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall suffered an apparent right arm injury in the Tigers' game against Florida Atlantic. The junior suffered the injury on a sack, and backup true freshman Jeremy Johnson threw a 36-yard touchdown on the very next play.

Marshall was taken to the locker room favoring his right arm, and it is unlikely he will return, considering the 21-0 lead and the talent disparity between the Tigers and Owls.

Entering the game, he had completed 57.3% of his passes this season, for eight yards per attempt and six touchdowns against four interceptions. The dual threat has also run for four scores and caught a 37-yard pass from himself earlier in the year.

Johnson enters the game 17 of 23 on the year for 201 yards and four touchdowns. The former four-star recruit is a premier talent, and should give the Florida Atlantic defense plenty of problems.

At the time of his injury, Marshall completed his only pass attempt for ten yards, but ran six times for 73 yards and a score.
