Texas A&M running back Tra Carson went down with an apparent head/neck injury during the fourth quarter of the Aggies' game against UTEP. Carson went down on what appeared to be a relatively routine tackle, but sat up holding his neck and, after a few seconds, fell back to the turf.
Watched the replay again and it looked like Tra Carson grabbed either his collarbone or base of his neck as he fell to the turf. #UTEPvsTAMU

The normally raucous 12th Man crowd in Kyle Field was absolutely silent as trainers attended to Carson and got him boarded up to be carted off on a stretcher.
Tra Carson on the backboard. Extremities moving, but I've never heard a stadium that quiet over live mikes, ever.
