Michigan was absolutely manhandled by Michigan State Saturday afternoon, as the Spartans defeated the visiting Wolverines 29-6 in one of the best defensive performances of the college football season. Michigan was held to -48 yards rushing, and the Wolverine offensive line was unable to contain the Spartan front seven.
VIDEO: Michigan’s Taylor Lewan twists Michigan State player’s facemask
The Michigan star was caught on camera using some dirty and dangerous tricks in the Wolverines’ loss.

Much of the focus has been on star left tackle Taylor Lewan, considered to be one of the top offensive tackles in the country.

Lewan was caught on camera repeatedly grabbing the facemask of Michigan State defenders -- once even twisting the helmet of a defender who was on the ground.
The two teams were involved in a similar incident two years ago, when Michigan State defender William Gholston twisted Denard Robinson's helmet and punched Lewan.
Before the game, Lewan said Michigan State "bullied" the Wolverines last season, and vowed not to let it happen again. After the game, he was asked specifically about struggling with Shilique Calhoun, who had two-and-a-half sacks in the game, and Lewan said "I really didn't have a problem with him at all, to be honest."
