Nebraska AD denies Texas booster’s Mack Brown rumor
Brown’s lawyer claims someone representing the Cornhuskers reached out to him.
On Sunday, Brown’s lawyer, Texas booster Joe Jamail, told Kirk Bohls of the Austin-American Statesman that the coach had heard from Nebraska, while also categorically denying Brown’s interest in the position.

— kbohls (@kbohls) December 15, 2013 Nebraska's current head coach, Bo Pelini, is firmly on the hot seat after a 8-4 record in 2013 — his sixth four-loss campaign in six seasons. After the Cornhuskers' season-ending loss to Iowa, Pelini told reporters "If they want to fire me, go ahead."
Brown officially resigned from Texas on Saturday after 16 years and one national title with the school. The search for his replacement is expected to be fierce.
