Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham briefly left the SEC Championship Game with a shoulder injury to get checked out in the locker room.
Missouri’s Dorial Green-Beckham playing with shoulder sprain
The former top overall recruit has made an impact so far for Missouri, but it looks like he’ll be playing with a shoulder injury the rest of the way.
DGB has a left shoulder sprain. Status for the rest of the game for #Mizzou is uncertain right now, per pressbox announcer.
— Bruce Feldman (@BFeldmanCBS) December 7, 2013 Beckham hurt his left shoulder early in the second quarter against the Auburn Tigers. In just one quarter of play, he had three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown (which may not have actually been a touchdown). Fortunately for Missouri, his absence was short-lived.
DGB is on sideline playing catch with James Franklin. Now grabbing his helmet. Looks to me like he'll be back. #Mizzoui
— Steve Greenberg (@SLGreenberg) December 7, 2013 Even if he’s not 100% healthy, Green-Beckham is a dynamic playmaker. Missouri will need to score a lot of points to stay with Auburn, and a partially healthy DGB helps them do that more than no DGB.
