The final scrimmage is just days away for many schools, and there willl be only a handful of teams left on the practice field this time next week as spring ball winds down. Many big names are priming for their annual spring game on Saturday, with hopes of topping Nebraska (or Kentucky?!) in attendance.

Clemson had 30,000 watch as their secondary struggled last Saturday in the Orange and White Game. Another orange team, Tennessee, had defensive struggles of its own in a scrimmage on Saturday.
In the Pac-12, the wide receivers were on display for Colorado last Saturday, with Paul Richardson showing no effects from his ACL surgery. For the Sun Devils,it was WIll Sutton and the defensive line that dominated in its spring game. Washington State didn’t go in full pads on Tuesday at it prepares for the Crimson and Gray game, but officials were on hand to help create a competitive atmosphere. The offensive line has been the biggest positive surprise for Utah after the unit struggled last season.
Bret Bielema still hasn't lost a game in the SEC, and he is working hard to build toughness in the Razorbacks both physically and mentally. Alabama fans are hoping running back Derrick Henry can return for fall camp after he had surgery on a fractured fibula suffered in the team's Saturday scrimmage. Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham is getting more comfortable is the team's offense. New Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn likes to push the tempo on offense, and how fast he will go is one of the key questions for the Tigers this spring. LSU has five scholarship quarterbacks on the roster, but Zach Mettenberger is still in charge.
Wisconsin will be showing off a new offense in the Big Ten this season, and the tight ends are likely to play an integral role. The battle for the quarterback position is the key thing to watch in Penn State’s Blue-White game. Michigan State isn’t name a starter at QB for the spring game, meaning the decision could carry over to the Fall.
Texas Tech inside receivers coach Eric Morris assured his players that they won’t see the field if they drop the ball. Iowa State fans should watch out for the pistol formation in Saturday’s spring game.
