Nike gave Arizona State a complete uniform overhaul just two years ago, but they could be getting another update before next season. A set of helmets sitting on a table were tweeted out by UniWatch, and while it’s not that different than their current iteration, they’re certainly forkier.
Arizona State could be getting newer, pitchforkier helmets
The Sun Devils got new pitchfork helmets just two years ago, but we all know that the only thing better than a pitchfork is a bigger pitchfork.

These new helmets have not been confirmed by either Nike or Arizona State as the new version, but considering Nike’s propensity for oversized helmet graphics, it probably wouldn’t surprise anyone if these saw their way onto the field in Tempe.

I still contend that getting rid of Sparky as Arizona State’s primary logo was a bad move, if for no other reason than it precluded the use of this delightful field graphic:
Either bring back Sparky, or give us a bigger turkey leg. Do the right thing, ASU.
