Jadeveon Clowney injury: South Carolina DE sits out scrimmage with sore shoulder
Jadeveon Clowney was held out of scrimmage on Saturday due to a sore shoulder.

Ward also said that Clowney’s shoulder is “fine” and that there is nothing to worry about. Apparently, they weren’t planning on using Clowney much at all even if he wasn’t dealing with the minor injury.
Keeping Clowney out as a preventive measure is a move that few would quibble with. He's arguably the best player in the nation and seems like a sure-fire top five pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, if not the No. 1 overall pick. Most believe he would have been a top five pick had he come out this year as well.
He’s the reigning Southeastern Conference defensive player of the year and finished sixth in Heisman Trophy balloting. He’s hoping to build on last season’s performance, which netted him 13 sacks an 23.5 tackles for loss.
