Though plagued by legal troubles, LSU’s starting tailback Jeremy Hill was voted back onto the team earlier this summer, and participated through a good portion of fall camp.
Could Jeremy Hill play against TCU? Les Miles isn’t saying
The tailback’s status remains unclear after Monday’s comments.

Does that mean he’ll play against No. 20 TCU this weekend at Cowboys Stadium? Head coach Les Miles kept quiet about that on Monday.
Miles not budging: He "would not be surprised" if Hill traveled. No details outside of that. #LSU

A followup question was asked about whether or not Hill would play, but Les Miles only offered a firm “no further comment.”
TCU has engaged in some gamesmanship of their own -- Horned Frogs head coach Gary Patterson said that Devonte Fields would be dressed and on the sideline, but gave no mention of whether or not he would actually play.
Still, by leaving Hill’s availability up in the air as long as possible, Miles is forcing TCU to prepare for him anyway. If he is not made available, though, it would be a huge blow to the Tiger offense. Hill made up a major part of the team’s rushing attack, having run for a team high 755 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
