Justin Worley is once again Tennessee's starting quarterback after Nathan Peterman suffered a hand injury, head coach Butch Jones announced. Peterman will miss about a month after undergoing surgery.

The junior Worley began the season as the Vols’ starter, throwing for three touchdowns against Austin Peay and averaging 7.5 yards per attempt in a win against Western Kentucky. He struggled against Oregon, completing 52 percent of his passes for 5.0 yards per attempt, and has yet to throw for more than 150 yards in a game this season.

Peterman made his first career start against Florida Saturday, and completed just 4 of 11 passes for 5 yards and two interceptions. Worley replaced him in-game, and went 10 of 23 for 149 yards and a score with two more interceptions. Tennessee lost, 31-17.

True freshmen Joshua Dobbs and Riley Ferguson will share the backup position behind Worley until Peterman is able to return. The Vols' next game is at home against South Alabama on Saturday.
